Historic Photo Installation at Town Hall

As part of Weston's 300th anniversary celebration, historic photos were temporarily placed around Town Hall. The photographs proved to be so popular with residents and visitors that the Historical Commission and the Historical Society collaborated to create a permanent installation in the main hallway of Town Hall.

Images were chosen from a collection held by the Historical Society and with private donations, the historic photos were reproduced on archival paper and framed by Florentine Frames in Weston Center.

Historic District Signs

As a part of its goal to increase awareness and appreciation for Weston's exceptional historical character, the Historical Commission received funding at the 2015 Annual Town Meeting to develop signs to announce some of Weston's designated historic districts.

The Department of Public Works worked with the Commission to create 23 signs, each with a maroon background and white lettering, and are prominently placed for viewing upon entering the designated historic district.
