At Annual Town Meeting 2023, Weston voted to adopt a new wetlands protection bylaw.

Proposed Wetlands Protection Regulations 

 The Weston Conservation Commission held a public hearing on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024. A link to a recording of that public hearing can be found HERE
 
The Commission will accept written comments through Friday, March 22nd, 2024. Comments and questions can be e-mailed to conservation@westonma.gov.

Proposed Wetlands Protection Regulations

Following the public hearing and public comment period, a final version of the regulations will be reviewed and approved by majority vote of the Conservation Commission at a public hearing, tentatively scheduled for March 26th, 2024. From there, the regulations are subject to Select Board review and approval, per Section 8: Regulations of the Wetlands Protection Bylaw, before taking effect.

The Weston Conservation Commission is a 7-member volunteer board appointed by the Select Board to administer the state Wetlands Protection Act and manage approximately 1,800 acres of municipal conservation land
