Testing for COVID-19 is widely available in Massachusetts. You should get a test for COVID-19 if you develop any symptoms of COVID-19 or 5 days following a known close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Visit the Massachusetts Department of Public Health testing page for complete information.
In addition, we suggest keeping antigen rapid self-tests on hand at home if you are symptomatic or exposed to an infected close contact:
- Use your health insurance to get kits from many major drugstore chains, or
- Order free kits to be mailed to your home from the Federal Government, or
- Free kits are available at the Board of Health office at Town Hall, the Council on Aging or the Weston Public Library while supplies last. Call 781-786-5033 for more information.
